The Istituto Europeo per lo Sviluppo Socio-Economico is a no profit association founded in Piedmont in order to support the academic and no profit worlds in the fundamental research process, starting point of the decision making. One of the statute objectives is the promotion of Italian participation in research and development programmes financed by the European Commission and the realisation of initiatives aimed to encourage the development and the valorisation, also abroad, of all the Italian economy branches. ISES activities consist primarily in the promotion, drafting and implementation of studies and research on social and economic spheres which are essential to support decision making at the base of aware and rational choices. Currently, the areas of reference are as follows:
•    Approach of the Italian socio-economic sector to the European Institutions.
•    Territorial marketing.
•    Benchmarking analysis.
•    Socio-economic business evaluation.
•    Decision making support.
Besides the research activities, ISES supports its partners in the draft and submission of European projects in different fields.
