The OUC is a State Institution of Higher Education the only one that provides open and distance education in both undergraduate and graduate level, as well as training and vocational programs aiming to satisfy the demand for lifelong learning and continuing education. OUC offers individuals the opportunity to pursue or complete University education in case they were not able to do so in the past. Likewise, open and distance learning offers, to those who already hold a university degree, the possibility to further their studies at a graduate level or even study different subjects aiming at career progression. Finally, the Open University through the provision of training and vocational programs will be offering individuals the opportunity to be kept informed about to trends and concepts of interest in both professional and personal development. |
